For an artist, inspiration rarely demands a grand stage. More often, it slips quietly into the corners of our everyday lives.

Recently, my balcony became the setting for a quiet, unfolding master story from nature. Tucked away in a corner plant beside our bicycles, a loving pair of Spotted Doves began to labor. Twig by twig, with a patience that only nature possesses, they wove together a fragile sanctuary. Soon, the mama was seen patiently warming her eggs.

Spring 2026: A Painter’s Palette — Singapore in Bloom

Vibrant colors of spring blooms brightening almost every corner of Singapore’s streets to the quiet sanctuary of my own home, nature has offered a masterclass in color and form this Spring.

Nature walks became mindful surrender—observing Sterculia pods and a cockatoo in flow revealed beauty, timing, and presence. The “Phoenix Eye” reminds me to pause, notice, and fully inhabit the moment.

The Kochi–Muziris Biennale ‘26 stood out for its accessibility and inclusiveness, bringing together audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Set across historic venues overlooking the Cochin harbour, the art blended effortlessly with the cultural and architectural surroundings. The conceptual works invited reflection and deeper appreciation of the ideas behind them. As a solo traveler and artist, the Biennale beautifully enriched my Kochi experience.
